We seek an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team in a full-time role at our Pomona, California office. The primary responsibility of this position will be conducting and leading field inspections, complemented by office-based civil and structural engineering tasks. Additionally, this role involves initiating and maintaining Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) and overseeing hat work is safely performed by field technicians.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead field inspections of power transmission structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Create Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) to identify and mitigate potential risks in the field.
- Oversee work execution of field technicians, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Provide engineering support for civil and structural infrastructure related to power transmission systems.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on structural analysis and design tasks.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and company practices.
