As the leader of our Customer Success team—which includes Account Managers, Order Entry Specialists, and Customer Success Representatives—you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment. By coaching and developing your team, you’ll ensure they deliver best-in-class service while achieving their professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a world-class team: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a diverse, passionate, and high-performing group of employees.
- Empower team members: Provide individualized coaching and support to help team members build their skills, achieve their goals, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Foster growth and collaboration: Create an environment where employees feel engaged, valued, and encouraged to share ideas and learn from one another.
- Support professional development: Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career planning sessions to help team members grow in their roles.
- Drive operational excellence: Design and implement strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality across the department.
- Lead by example: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Continuously improve processes: Analyze workflows and implement solutions to enhance both team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure business success: Oversee customer accounts to ensure profitability and accurate billing while resolving any escalated issues with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in Transportation/Logistics customer support.
- Leadership: At least six years of experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of building and developing teams.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AS400, and other PC-based tools.
- Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and improve customer service operations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed to support business operations.
