Information Technology Administrator - HYBRID

Seeking to hire a HYBRID Information Technology Administrator for Direct Hire in Des Plaines, IL.

The IT Administrator is the primary IT role. All IT Administrators are responsible for managing the general IT Infrastructure which includes end user support, ITAM, security, and education. The primary objective for all IT Administrators is to ensure the 4 pillars of IT are upheld to ensure that all staff utilize their technology as optimally as possible.

Position Responsibilities:

· Fields All IT Support Tickets

· Manages the IT Infrastructure from end-to-end

· Proactively Monitors All IT-Related Systems (Backups, Logging, Update Notices)

· Develops, presents, implements and documents IT special projects

· Executes IT Procurement (With Approval)

· Collaborate with stakeholders to develop staff education

· Adheres to all Information Security best practices

· Practices proper Patch Management across all systems

· Follows and Updates established IT Policies & Procedures

· Manages equipment lifecycles for all workstations

· Updates all Microsoft Planner tasks as they are completed

Technology Department Expectations

· Collaborate with other Technology Administrators to provide consistency in support, training and other engagement

· Participates in regular Technology Department training and exercises

· Attends and contributes to all departmental meetings

· Supported By: Technology Department Leadership, Design Technology, Platform Experts, and HR/Accounting/Office Management Corollaries

Job Requirements

• 4-year (or equivalent) degree in a technology-related field
• Professional experience in an IT Support role
• Experience Administrating MS Office, Windows
• Experience maintaining/repairing Computer Hardware
• Working knowledge of Scripting Tools (Powershell)
• Practical experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Entra ID
• Solid Understanding of Networking Technologies (HP/Cisco Switches, WIFI, VPN, SD- WAN)
• Understanding of Information Security Principles & Practices
• Experience managing SMB File Shares & File Permissions
• Conceptual knowledge of Cloud-based services
• Comfortable with public speaking to a large audience
