Scope of Position:
Working under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, is responsible for the existing distribution channel and sales of designated products in the eastern United States. Develops and manages the distribution network to meet or exceed the sales and gross margin objectives determined in the business unit plans. Monitors and responds to competitive actions and changes in the market dynamics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage the Established Rep Network
- Set and Monitor Performance Goals
- Coordinate and Participate in Rep and Customer Training
- Create Specifications and Orders through Field Sales Calls
· Control Pricing to Achieve Sales and Gross Margin Goals
- Manage Discounts and Promotions
- Monitor and Follow Up Quotations
· Monitor Competitive Actions and Market Changes
- Know Competitors and Their Reps
- Collect Competitive Information Including Pricing
- Gauge Competitors Market Position
· Conforms to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies, objectives and obligations.
· Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
