The FOH Service Manager supports the General Manager/ Assistant General Manager in all operational aspects of the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Ensure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levels
-Develop risk management and mitigation strategies
-Maintain all corporate beverage mandates
-Update and track daily reports
-Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants
-Coach and train staff
-Responsible for Team performance – morale, productivity
-Keep General Manger informed of sales and key issues
-Increasing sales through marketing, networking and incentives for staff to raise guest check average.
-Minimum 3-4 years professional experience
-Strong management skills
-Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skills
-General business acumen
-Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader
-Finds problem areas, develops solutions
-Able to delegate effectively
-Able to work long hours standing and walking
-Solicit, coordinate and sell private events, organizing through execution
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Increasing sales through incentives for staff to raise guest check average.
-Maintains budgeted revenues, cost of sales (COS), labor, supplies and operating cash flow (OCF).
-Reviews monthly profit and loss statement and acts on all variances.
-Monitor activities and expenses including inventory and labor
REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum 4 years professional experience
-General business acumen and analytical skills
-Expert knowledge of all Restaurant computer systems
-Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader
-Experience selling private events
-Understanding of costing and forecasting
