Key Responsibilities
- Administer assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis.
- Develop client reports, including functional behavior assessments, individual treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and discharge summaries.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in implementing ABA interventions.
- Design individualized programming tailored to the client’s needs and caregiver goals.
- Monitor progress via visual analysis and make program adjustments as necessary.
- Utilize behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff program implementation skills.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Ability to follow the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.
- Physical ability to move freely, transition between seated and standing positions quickly, and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Master's degree with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in autism therapy.
