Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Echocardiograms: Perform accurate and high-quality echocardiograms as ordered by the healthcare team.
- Ultrasound Imaging: Utilize proper ultrasound techniques to ensure precise diagnostic outcomes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain ultrasound and echocardiography equipment for optimal functionality.
- Patient Positioning & Instruction: Instruct and position patients to ensure optimal imaging during procedures.
- Data Management: Archive and manage echo studies, including data copying for reviews as required.
- Continuous Education: Participate in professional development programs to stay updated with the latest industry standards and advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification: RDCS (ARDMS), CCI, or CRCS (CARDUP) certification required within one year of hire.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in cardiac sonography or related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to excel in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong technical and organizational skills.
