Job Description
Our client is looking for a Cardiac Sonographer to join their team in Middlebury, VT. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing echocardiograms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality patient care. Key responsibilities include conducting echo exams as ordered, utilizing proper ultrasound techniques for optimal results, and collaborating with medical staff to uphold standards. The role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
- RDCS from ARDMS, CCI, or CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and organization skills.
Technical Skills
- Maintain echocardiography services per industry standards.
- Ensure daily technical operation of the laboratory.
- Position and instruct patients for procedures.
- Copy studies to disc as needed for review.
- Maintain equipment and supplies.
- Participate in professional educational programs.
