We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our medical team. Duties
- Conduct sonographic examinations using various imaging modalities, including ultrasound and Doppler technology.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adhering to quality control standards.
- Review patient records and medical histories to identify potential issues and prepare patients for procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining procedures and providing emotional support.
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures as needed, working closely with cardiologists and other medical specialists.
- Assist in emergency medicine situations, such as trauma cases and code blue situations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new sonography protocols.
- Perform telemetry procedures as needed, working closely with telemetry nurses and other medical professionals.
Experience
- RDCS from ARDMS, CCI OR CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and the principles of radiology and sonography.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and medical professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in sonography and medical technology.
