- If you like a variety of duties, this is the perfect role for you. As our IT Manager you will oversee all IT functions at multiple locations and for multiple systems. This includes maintaining our primary operational software in the cloud, Windows servers, email, and remote employee support. You will lead out in keeping our systems secure, running smoothly, and accessible to the appropriate employees. From database systems to servers, networking to hardware, cameras to phones - you will be in charge of it all.
- Do you enjoy providing great customer service and helping others? One of your roles will be to provide support to other employees for both small and large issues. If you are helpful and patient, you will be very popular throughout the company. Some support will be simple and some complex, but it is all important to the end user.
- Are you empowered in your current role? As our IT Manager, you will be the orchestrator of our technology systems. You will work directly with our Management Leadership Team to improve our efficiencies and use of technology. We punch above our weight in the use of innovative technology solutions to further our company goals. Your decisions and efforts will have a real impact on our day-to-day operations.
- Would you like more stability than is often present in the boom/bust cycles of the technology industry? Metro Group has been in business for almost 50 years and we are well-capitalized to weather any storm. You will be busy but we value a healthy work-life balance. The role is hybrid so you will have some flexibility to work from home if that is important to you. Nothing beats a commute from your bedroom to your home office.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive technology experience.
- Experience in maintaining virtual servers, Windows domain controllers, databases, desktops, etc.
- Embody our company culture and values (we would love to talk about our values during an interview).
- Ability to build strong relationships with people across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions.
- PTO accrual starting from day one, paid holidays, medical, dental & vision coverage, voluntary life and other supplemental insurance, 401K after one year of service, and optional bonus.
