Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Accounting, Business Management or related area.
- One (1) year administrative support, accounting, or human resources related experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals who possess:
- Experience with Talent, Employee Compensation and Onboarding.
- Experience with People Admin and/or Neo Ed
- HR Certification (I.E. SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-CP)
Work Hours
Normally scheduled Monday through Friday; however, could occasionally be asked to work an evening or weekend, based upon department needs.
Compensation
The annual salary is between $54,867-$58,159. A competitive benefit package is included.

Class Summary
Incumbents coordinate the operations of an assigned human resources function, and perform professional level work in assigned area.
Typical Essential Duties
- Coordinate overall recruitment process for full-time and part-time employees
- Communicate with employees, new hires, staff, supervisors both internal & external on specific, technical, and/or general information
- Review and update position descriptions
- Create full time and part-time job postings
- Screen and release applicants
- Prepare hiring packets
- Coordinate faculty postings with Academic Affairs
- Contact candidates with offers, salary placement, and a start date
- Verifies, processes, enters, extracts, and/or updates employee data into systems; maintains database, documentation, journal entries, prepares and reviews reports; work may involve analyzing, verifying, and approving information and requests to ensure that information is accurate, consistent, and complies with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service support to hiring supervisors, hiring facilitators and committee members
- Provide guidance to employees by identifying, evaluating and troubleshooting, evaluating information and processes. Make recommendations to improve operational and process efficiencies.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of supervisory principles;
- Knowledge of computers and related software applications;

- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices in assigned area of responsibility;
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or
