What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Account Manager, Unmanned Systems position at MFE Inspection Solutions?
The Regional Account Manager, Unmanned Systems position is responsible to partner with the sales team to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The Regional Account Manager, Unmanned Systems will grow their customer portfolios via marketing leads, trade show contacts, and individual lead generation throughout the assigned region and coverage area. Primary duties will include identify and maintain front-facing business growth through capitalizing on external opportunities to build and to maintain successful relationships with prospective customers, existing and prior customers to generate revenue and MFE Inspection Solutions Brand loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Western USA region, with a focus on growing MFE Inspection Solutions' market share in the unmanned systems industry
- Conduct market research to identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned business industries, including Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining and others
- Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory authorities
- Present product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients and industry events
- Collaborate with the internal product development and engineering teams to provide market feedback and insights to drive continuous product improvement
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to management
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent MFE Inspection Solutions and stay current on industry developments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the unmanned systems or inspection solutions industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the unmanned systems market, including industry trends, regulations, and key players
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the Western USA region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) systems and their applications
- Existing network of industry contacts within the target markets
