What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations - Project Coordinator position at MFS Talent?
Shift : Rotating : 12 hours. 36 hours / week-Work location : Remote-Compensation : $30 to $40 per hourDuties and Responsibilities-Design and implement TDM strategies that reduce the demand for parking and single-occupancy vehicles.-Promote the use of alternative transportation options like public transit, carpooling, biking, walking, teleworking, and shared mobility services.-Collaborate with local businesses, government agencies, and transportation service providers to support regional TDM initiatives.-Work with company departments and leadership to incorporate TDM strategies into corporate sustainability plans.-Conduct surveys and analyze commuting patterns to assess transportation needs and opportunities for improvement.-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of TDM programs through data collection, performance metrics, and regular reporting.-Assist in the development of policies and procedures that encourage the use of sustainable transportation modes.-Organize and lead events such as bike-to-work days, carpool matching programs, or public transit information fairs.Education Qualifications-Bachelor's degree in urban planning, Transportation Planning, Environmental Science, or related field (master's preferred)Experience-2-3 years of experience in transportation demand management, urban planning, or a related field.Licenses and Certifications-NoneBenefits-Health / Dental / Vision Insurance-Sick time off
