Load Planner (Batch Builder)

Schedule: Monday- Friday 12:00pm – 8:30pm (must be flexible to work earlier/later based on business needs) This position qualifies for a shift differential Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent degree 1 years’ experience with power industrial equipment, OR willing to be trained (dock stock, order picker, and walkie rider) Computer Skills Must be comfortable with heights Responsibilities: Controls the flow of orders to the DC floor What orders are dropped & when are they available to the team to start picking Assists with prioritizing work and helps to ensure that orders are filled to ensure carrier pull times are met Responsive to customer service and sales rep needs Works to resolve active issues with orders or delegates request to the appropriate party Ensures the DC team can pull back work in progress if a customer wishes to cancel an order Works to root cause and resolve problematic errors that occur during the picking process Critical Requirements: Data Oriented Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries and reports Certified or able to become certified on: Order Picker Reach Truck Walkie Rider (Electronic Pallet Jack) Detail Oriented Understands the importance of the task being performed and the criticality of dropping work on time and at consistent intervals Basic PC MS Office Suite & the Batch Builder application Professionalism/ Time management skills Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Willingness to make decisions and solve problems Be the go-to person for any ad-hoc data-related questions Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
