HE JOB:
As the Assistant General Manager at Noodles, you will partner with the General Manager to lead the operations of the restaurant. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the dining experience, overseeing staff, guest satisfaction, and the overall success of the venue. This role is perfect for an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about guest service and restaurant management, and who thrives in a fast-paced dining environment.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability
Execute on the restaurant's business plan and assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets
Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company's diversity commitment; adherence to the company's status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements
Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Two years of experience in Food & Beverage industry in a full-service restaurant
At least two years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant environment
Background in Asian cuisine
Bilingual in Chinese dialect, preferred Mandarin or Cantonese
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and other outside contacts
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
