The Job
It is the primary responsibility of the Pit Clerk to assist the Table Games Department by completing tasks that aid in the operations of the gaming tables. It is the responsibility of the Pit Clerk to deliver on our company's brand by using our SHOW Guest Service standards with all customers and coworkers.
The Day-to-day
- Interact with guest and coworkers
- Patron Management – Creation and updating of accounts, printing MGM Rewards cards, scanning customer ID’s, entering manual ratings and entering comps
- Pit Transactions - Assist Table Games with all marker functions, securing markers and during system downtimes assist Table Games
- Answer phones in Pits
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Ability to sit/stand for long period
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word
- Exhibit telephone etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
