THE JOB:
The Surveillance Operator fosters a collaborative environment, working closely with partner departments to ensure exceptional service for all guests. They play a crucial role in maintaining a fair, safe, and secure gaming experience by upholding company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations, while ensuring accountability for both customers and employees.
THE STARTING RATE: $24.00/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Operate CCTV and Video Management System (VMS) equipment to monitor casino activities, review footage, and archive evidence.
Monitor casino areas and personnel to ensure policy adherence, detect suspicious activity, and prevent fraud and theft.
Observe and review video footage, complete incident reports, and share relevant information with sister properties.
Stay updated on gaming regulations, company policies, and threats through ongoing training and development.
Use facial recognition, license plate recognition, panic alarm, and access control systems as needed.
Evaluate casino players for advantage play, game protection, and suspicious behavior using live observation and software.
Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies through various software applications.
Collaborate with Gaming Authority and law enforcement, testify in court as needed, and maintain confidentiality of operations.
Work with leadership and partner departments to enhance the guest experience.
Monitor non-gaming areas of the property as directed.
Preform other job-related duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience in security or surveillance, including familiarity with CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS).
