MGR Accountant and Tax Consultant LLC is a growing firm dedicated to providing personalized accounting, tax, and payroll services. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, accuracy, and exceptional customer care. We are currently seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper with strong administrative abilities and leadership potential to join our team.



Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing administrative tasks, and supporting the team with day-to-day operations. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, approachable, and committed to teamwork and excellent customer service.



Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks or other accounting software

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly

• Process accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and summaries

• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed

• Provide administrative support including filing, scheduling, document preparation, and data entry

• Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing friendly and professional customer service

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy

• Take initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements

• Support team leadership in coordinating deadlines and projects



Qualifications:

• 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Team-oriented with leadership potential

• Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
