Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance on best practices in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by technicians to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used, including cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote service offerings and drive revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in automotive diagnostics to enhance service capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures while maintaining a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role within a dealership environment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks struts, and general automotive diagnostics.
- Experience in cash handling and managing financial transactions within an automotive service setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members alike.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
