Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Participates in developing, leading, and facilitating the patient experience strategy work to achieve the organization’s people-centered goals at the department level. Coordinates, supports, and facilitates initiatives and programs that support a patient-centered care experience for patients and families. What the Experience of Care Consultant will need: Bachelor’s degree in related field, nursing RN licensure in state of Michigan Two years of health care related experience with experience facilitating and coaching leaders and colleagues to achieve organizational culture change and experience of care outcomes. What the Experience of Care Consultant will do: Supports organizational goals through leading improvement activities that supports the integration of patient experience, colleague engagement and safety culture strategies with multidisciplinary teams. Utilizes standard project management and improvement methodologies and tools. Understands patient experience survey data reporting to be able to teach and share with others and process to correct errors to maintain data integrity. Provides consulting of patient experience practices and data reporting to leaders so they have the right data, skills, and knowledge to achieve target outcomes. Understands and utilizes various sources of patient feedback to prioritize and implement improvements. Participates in colleague and patient rounding to better understand clinical and patient care opportunities and recognize what is going well. Supports the Patient and Family Advisory Council program to ensure engagement of members to organizational and execution of council goals.
