Job Description
- Run/manage project from start to finish
- Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
- Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
- Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
- Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.
Profile
The Successful Associate Superintendent
- High School diploma or equivelant.
- Additional construction-related courses of a vocational or technical nature helpful
- 3-5 years of experience in the construction of large multifamily and industrial buildings. Tilt up/ tilt wall experience preferred.
- Carpentry background not necessary, but helpful
- Computer abilities to do scheduling and planning. (Word, Excel at a minimum)
- Familiarity with the design/build process and ability to coordinate many people and activities involved in construction according to plan and design intent. (preferred)
