Description
The Construction Superintendent - $20M Multifamily Projects - Holyoke MA is responsible for:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to maintain efficient workflows and project progress.
- Monitor project plans, specifications, and timelines, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, quality standards, and local building codes.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to align on expectations and resolve any challenges.
- Prepare daily reports and updates to track progress and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Lead the project team in troubleshooting and solving on-site challenges to maintain project momentum.
Profile
The right candidate will have:
- Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC (5 years)
- Experience building ground-up/renovation multifamily & commercial projects valued at $10M
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Good written and communication skills
- Familiarity with construction/project management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
- 30-Hour OSHA (preferred)
- MA CSL
