My client is one of the nation's leading multifamily builders, known for delivering award-winning communities for over 30 years. Headquartered in Seymour, CT, they handle projects across southern Massachusetts and Connecticut. Specializing in multifamily construction, they manage projects valued between $20M and $80M, with a focus on wood-frame structures, while also incorporating concrete and steel builds.
Description
The Lead Superintendent is responsible for:
- Oversee and manage daily construction site activities.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and address issues to the Project Manager.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Profile
The right candidate will have:
- Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC (5 years)
- Experience building ground-up Multi-family projects valued at $10M
- Currently holds title of Superintendent
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Good written and communication skills
- Skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Familiarity with construction/project management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
- 30-Hour OSHA (preferred)
