Description
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights and analysis to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements, maintaining strong internal controls and proper documentation.
- Manage audits, tax filings, and other external reporting requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and supply chain, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Monitor and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
