Description
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Contract & Compliance Management: Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, permits, and regulatory compliance to align with project requirements.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Oversight: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and work progress.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders through regular updates and meetings.
- Site & Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting site inspections and enforcing safety protocols.
- Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions to mitigate issues before they escalate.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Direct and support project teams, including superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee work quality and adherence to project specifications, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including reports, change orders, RFI logs, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
- 4 years experience with a general contractor
- 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desired
- Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships
- Construction software proficiency (Procore, CMiC, Timberline, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
