Description
The Superintendent will:
- Project Oversight: Lead and supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction site and project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and labor to optimize project efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.
Profile
The successful Superintendent will have:
- 10 years of civil construction experience required
Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and coordinate construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Project Management: Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and overseeing project progress to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. A strong emphasis on safety is a core value of this firm
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients, engineers, and team members, facilitating clear understanding and collaboration.
Problem-Solving: Capability to identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, AutoCAD) and understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure to meet deadlines and project goals
Job Offer

- Base salary between $130-150K
