Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry partners.
- Identify new business opportunities in the warehouse and logistics sectors and convert leads into long-term customers.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design targeted campaigns and promotional strategies to attract new clients.
- Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and close deals with high-value clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Work with operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of warehouse services for new clients.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, ensuring retention and exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Present regular sales performance updates to senior leadership and make recommendations for process improvements or new initiatives.
- Work closely with the warehouse operations team to ensure service quality and operational efficiency align with client expectations.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal departments to ensure timely contract negotiations and billing processes.
- Proven experience (5 years) in sales leadership within warehouse, logistics, or distribution industries.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach to sales.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in B2B sales and enterprise-level deal negotiations.
- Experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced, growing company.
