Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will work directly with the AVP of Construction to provide strategic planning and management for multiple retail development projects. This role requires strong collaboration across departments including Development, Design, Legal, Leasing, Finance, and Property Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of up to six redevelopment projects or one major ground-up development project
- Lead construction activities across multiple regional malls
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts
- Coordinate with development teams from project inception through completion
- Create comprehensive development planning schedules with Senior Development Manager
- Oversee multiple construction methodologies (lump sum, GMP, design / build, cost plus)
- Prepare and execute vendor contracts
- Generate monthly financial and schedule progress reports
- Review and verify change orders
- Manage consultants and construction managers during pre-construction and construction phases
