Customer Service Representative
Michigan Broadband Services is a proven provider of enterprise-grade networking, communications and connectivity services that address a wide variety of telecommunications technologies including fiber, DSL, telephone, and streaming TV services. We are currently searching for Customer Service Representatives to work in our Carney MI office to serve customers by providing product and service information, upselling and resolving product and service problems. The positions will include all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
· Respond to public inquiries via phone, online, or in person on the selections and availability of services or billing questions.
· Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services that will enhance the customers’ experience.
· Upsell services for existing customers.
· Open new customer accounts in our in-house software with the required information and maintain existing customer records with new and updated information as needed.
· Accurate posting of service orders to ensure billing is completed correctly and on time each month.
· Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up with the customer to ensure resolution while treating customers with respect.
· Ability to work in multiple internal service suites to assist in the resolution of any reported customer issues.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office.
· Self-motivated and able to multitask in difficult situations.
· Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
