We are looking to hire a Microelectronics Project Manager to join our elite Microelectronics group at our US HQ. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering technical project management leadership to cross functional teams that develop implantable microelectronic product designs and manufacturing processes. This person will have an electronics engineering background and be able to work collaboratively with external customers, in-house partners and internal stakeholders to deliver on high-profile medical device products and projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Contact

  • New Business Development
  • New Product Development
  • Production Life Cycle Management

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Translation of customer requirements to project deliverables.
  • Development and management of project budget of project schedule.

Technical Leader

  • Innovative leader engaged in the project from concept through introduction to serial production.
  • Leverage MSEI’s engineering capabilities to deliver innovative product designs with the automated manufacturing processes for serial production.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management or related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience with technical project management in microelectronics, advanced packaging, semiconductors, electrical engineering or similar.
  • 5 years leading technical projects across cross functional teams with multiple key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success and working experience in electronics.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong people & communication skills (written and verbal), quick learner with strong initiative.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Direct, hands-on technical experience in the field of medical devices or comparable high reliability printed circuit boards, electronic assembly/IC-packaging services and/or components.
  • Experience with planning and overseeing microelectronics-related prototyping and technology transition projects.
  • Statistical process control, design of experiments and design for manufacturability.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to travel internationally and domestically, less than 5% of the time.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
