What You’ll Do:
- Manage Property Operations: Oversee daily operations across residential or commercial properties, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Maintenance Supervision: Coordinate with contractors for timely repairs and renovations, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Inspections: Conduct regular property checks to address maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
- Budgeting & Contracts: Manage property budgets, negotiate service contracts, and ensure all expenses stay on track.
Tenant Relations:
- Tenants: Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, handling inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism.
- Leasing & Marketing: Take charge of leasing vacant units, screening potential tenants, and handling lease agreements.
- Problem-Solver: Handle lease renewals, terminations, and manage the eviction process when necessary.
Financial Management:
- Budget: Prepare, manage, and report property budgets to ensure revenue goals are met.
- Rent Collection: Oversee rent payments, track delinquencies, and manage legal actions as needed.
- Market Trends: Stay on top of market trends and rental rates to keep properties competitive.
Compliance:
- Stay Compliant: Keep updated on local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring properties meet all legal standards.
- Legal Support: Work with legal counsel and other professionals to ensure all risks are managed appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a property manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of property management software and financial principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
