What does a Inventory Coordinator do?

As an Inventory Coordinator at MOFC, your daily responsibilities will revolve around the timely and accurate data entry into the inventory system for product donations, purchases, and transfers. You will track incoming and outgoing supplies, ensuring accurate records and efficient processes. Collaborating with team members, you will coordinate the organization and storage of food items, all while adhering to safety and quality standards. Monitoring stock levels and performing regular audits will be essential to prevent shortages and waste.

You'll communicate effectively with suppliers and partners to facilitate timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, you'll engage in problem-solving discussions with your team to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative strategies that enhance our operations. Your role will be vital in upholding our mission to provide nutritious food to those in need within the community.

A high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse environment is required. Experience operating pallet jacks (manual and electric) and forklifts are preferred. Excellent knowledge of general inventory and warehouse operations, and accurate inventory control practices and procedures is also required.
