What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Midas Auto Service and Tires?
Midas Auto Service Experts of Melbourne Florida is seeking 2 strong Service Advisors for our store. No automotive background/knowledge is necessary. What we DO look for are individuals that are extremely personable, people friendly, easy to talk to, and have some sort of experience in sales or customer service. Customer service is the heart of our business. You are the first impression that our customer's make when they walk through our doors.
Job duties include
- Answering the phone
- Learning our point of sale system
- Learning how to use and explain digital vehicle inspections
- Greeting customers
- Checking customers in
- Selling repair orders
- Communicating with our store manager regarding work orders/services that need recommending on vehicles
- Providing outstanding customer service to our customer base
We are a very high volume shop, as we are approaching 20 years of ownership. We do things on a very grassroot level, where you are directly working with the owners of the store for training and any resources or assistance you may need.
