What are the responsibilities and job description for the CCE Experiential Learning Coordinator (004010) position at Middlebury College?
The CCE Experiential Learning Coordinator will support the development and implementation of the summer 2025 History in Translation program. This includes collaborative development of community partnerships and the program itinerary; and co-facilitation and logistical support during the implementation phase.
This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is $18.19 per hour. It is a temporary position running until July 10, 2025.
Core responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CCE staff and others on the advisory team to establish and support community partnerships
- Collaborate with CCE staff and others on the advisory team to develop the program itinerary
- Co-facilitate and support a positive, safe, and inclusive living and learning environment for undergraduate participants
- Facilitate and/or co-facilitate daily reflection activities for undergraduate participants
- Communicate risk management and other concerns to CCE staff
- Support CCE staff in tracking expenses and receipts for all in-program purchases as required
- Transport program participants (driving)

Requirements
- For the summer 2025 program, knowledge of Language Justice principles and approaches
- Experience in diverse linguistic and cultural contexts
- Group facilitation experience and/or interest in learning these skills
- Professional communications
- Flexibility – community-connected programs may require last-minute changes and decisions
- Time management – for self and supporting others
- Licensed driver in the US
