Summary:
An exciting opportunity awaits at Midland Cares Meals on Wheels for a dedicated Program Assessor to assess clients in their homes to determine the best service programs to meet their needs. You will travel to potential clients' homes, conduct assessments, and ensure accurate certifications for home-delivered meal services. Additionally, you will maintain client files, address client issues, and monitor the effectiveness of the program.
Employment Status: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm
Pay starting at $20.86 /hr (based on requirements and like experience)

Qualifications
Required: Education requirement of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university, in gerontology, nursing, health, social work, counseling, human development and family studies or other related area. Other degrees or work experience may be considered on an individual basis, taking into account the applicant's experience and skills. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to two years of work experience in social services with an emphasis on working with the elderly. Good knowledge of social services and community resources for senior citizens. Capacity to communicate with people representing vast differences of professional, cultural, social, and economic backgrounds and ages. Must have a current Kansas or Missouri driver's license and the ability to deliver meals if needed. Must have appropriate automobile insurance and meet insurability requirements throughout their employment.
