Clinical Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for developing treatment and recovery plans and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions. To ensure success, substance abuse counselors should be familiar with the latest treatment methods (most importantly, Motivational Interviewing), and collaborate with other mental health care specialists. This individual must be capable of working in a collaborative treatment setting, where consultation with other clinicians, medical professionals, and residential support staff, is essential.

Clinical Manager Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of a case from date of entry to date of discharge; this includes, but is not limited to: biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, collaboration with family and outside treatment providers, and discharge planning
Maintain a caseload of clients
Facilitating individual and therapeutic group sessions
Monitoring patients over time to assess treatment progress
Collaborating with psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and various other community resources who might be involved in the clients' treatment process.
Identifying barriers that interfere with treatment and recovery
Meeting with family members to provide education and support
Agree to and comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, including how to handle patient grievances, proper intake procedures, staff meeting requirements and general code of conduct
Clinical Manager Requirements:
Course work in chemical dependency counseling, or a degree with coursework in chemical dependency.
Must hold one of the following in the state of Ohio: CADACII or higher
Masters Degree preferred
Previous experience with the treatment of substance abuse disorders
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature
Ability to maintain confidentiality
LAC, LCAC, LSW, or LMHC required
