What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Scribe/Technician position at MIDWEST EYE INSTITUTE?
Dr. Neil Finnen, a retina specialist, is seeking a full time ophthalmic scribe/technician. At least 1 year of ophthalmic scribing experience preferred. The scribe will work closely with the physician to ensure accurate charting in real time. The right candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with patients and staff professionally, have proficient computer skills, self motivated, and be able to multi-task.
Duties include, but not limited to: scribing, patient work-up, patient procedure prep, ordering supplies, answering multi-line phone, patient triage, scheduling, and diagnostic testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
