Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.
Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Panel Builder that will be responsible for the assembly of electrical components into a control panel.
Electrical Panel Builder Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex wiring layouts on electric units
- Set up and testing of systems
- Preparation of panels for shipment
- Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
- Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Operating forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and ship products
Electrical Panel Builder Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC wiring
- Basic understanding of system electrical prints
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Prepping electrical control cabinets (i.e., unwrapping, cutting, installing components)
- Prepping assemblies mechanically and electrically
- Bending EMT conduit
- General use of hand tools
- Able to troubleshoot equipment
- Willing to travel to change parts out on completed systems
