About the Opportunity
As a Business Systems & Analytics Manager at Midwest Salt, you will have the opportunity to lead our business systems and analytics team, drive growth through data-driven decision making, and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic improvements and implement new technologies to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and coach the business systems and analytics team, ensuring team accountability and success. This includes hiring, training, performance management, career path planning, and managing any outsourcing vendor partnerships.
- Systems and Data Integrity Management: Oversee all company business systems and technology infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity. Set up and maintain system security protocols and actively resolve data errors in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Analytics and Reporting: Build and manage dashboards and scorecards that provide actionable insights, track KPIs, and support company-wide data reporting. Ensure that dashboards are effective, accurate, and widely adopted by users.
- Strategic Planning and Process Optimization: Collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic improvements, optimize workflows, and increase automation. Use data-driven insights to recommend innovations and align systems with business objectives.
- Project and Vendor Management: Lead technology implementation projects from planning to deployment, manage budgets, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure solutions meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Compliance, Security, and Special Projects: Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies in data protection and cybersecurity. Additionally, lead or participate in special projects to address evolving business goals and initiatives.
