What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Mighty Dog Roofing?
Quick-and-Dirty: Mighty Dog Roofing is seeking a hungry, team-oriented outside sales representative to support our growing Roofing Business in the Huntsville, Alabama area. This person will go to customer homes to perform roof inspections, and depending on what gets found, work with that homeowner and our production team to figure out a solution that meets their needs. Leads will be assigned that come in from our own marketing sources, and tools will be provided to help you be successful.
No prior roofing experience is needed.

You can be successful, VERY successful, but you need to be hungry and motivated.
Here's a few places people fail:
Self-Discipline - This job gives a ton of freedom to work your appointments and manage your schedule. However, if you don't maintain some discipline for it, YOU WILL FAIL. Leads will wander off. Success takes focus.
Ready to Feed Yourself - I've got digital marketing, business networks, and door-knockers that will help find leads for you to serve. However, if those aren't yielding results, you need to be prepared to tap your own network or knock on your own doors if you want to eat.
Closing Skills - We aren't pushy salesmen, but most deals won't just close themselves. You need to be prepared to have those conversations with the homeowner. We've handled part of the equation by helping them realize there's a problem. Now we need to make sure they are comfortable going to the next step.
COMMISSION-BASED PAY - I offer salary commission or Commission only. If you want the salary option, you'll likely cap off around 75-90k/year, assuming you exceed quota. If you hit your quotas reliably, you will make FAR MORE MONEY on the Commission-only, where quota will put you around $95k/year, and doing above that will take you to $120k and beyond. I firmly believe that when you take risk, you get the reward... And if you exceed my business needs, your slice of the pie gets bigger to reflect that.
