Job Summary
The Child Care Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operation of the child care facility. Duties
- Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations of the child care center.
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement engaging educational programs for children.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff members.
- Maintain accurate records related to student enrollment, attendance, and assessments.
Skills
- A degree from a recognized university in education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of education administration practices and policies.
- Ability to educate and mentor staff effectively.
- Experience in higher education teaching is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
