Job Overview
The General Manager will oversee the entire curbside management operations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This role is responsible for ensuring all operational, staffing, and customer service standards are met while complying with city regulations. The General Manager will coordinate with the City of Atlanta, stakeholders, and internal management teams to deliver excellent curbside services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of curbside services, including vehicle dispatching, crowd control, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including those related to passenger safety, vehicle inspections, and pedestrian traffic control.
- Supervise the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager to ensure team performance and service delivery.
- Liaise with airport authorities, external contractors, and the City of Atlanta regarding operational requirements and improvements.
- Manage staff schedules, training programs, and recruitment to maintain 24/7 operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for addressing irregular operations, customer complaints, and operational inefficiencies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and adjust operational plans as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ground transportation management, specifically in airport settings.
- Proven experience in shuttle, limo, and/or taxi dispatching and customer service at major transportation centers or airports.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or related field preferred.
