We have our very own bakery that uses local grain to make the best English muffins, sourdough bread and pastries to supply our growing restaurant group. THE ROLE
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be supporting the Manager for overseeing daily operations of Mike & Patty’s. This role demands a hands-on approach, working closely with teams to ensure seamless execution of our hospitality-driven service model. To lead by example with our values that encompass being Positive, Proactive, Proactive and Passionate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership & Culture: Exude, demonstrate and perpetuate a company culture in line with the core values including the management of employees working in a clean, safe, compliant and fun environment.
- Guest Experience: Implement exceptional guest service by being the lead example of someone that makes all guests feel special. Going above and beyond with connecting with the local community and fostering genuine relationships with our guests, vendors, and community.
- Operations Management: Ensure food safety, inventory management and quality control for Mike & Patty's Restaurant. Following the weekly Leadership Checklist that ensures we are being proactive and compliant.
- Financial Management: To work closely with your manager to understand and manage your stores budgets. Trained on how to analyze performance metrics, and optimize labor costs to ensure profitability.
- Training & Development: Coach and mentor team members on brand standards, food safety, and guest service SOP’s which are all provided in our internal training program.
- Compliance & Certifications: Ensure compliance with all local regulations and maintain necessary certifications, such as ServSafe.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- A passion for hospitality & providing great service
- Proven achievement of key performance indicators in prior management positions
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing talent.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and analyze performance metrics.
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player who enjoys working on a team to achieve great performance
- Ability to work in a high demand, fast paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs
- ServSafe certification.
- Works a schedule that is on the needs of the business, a minimum of 5 days
- Ability to recognize problems and problem solve
- Proficient at using and managing technology software (i.e POS, Email, Calendar Events)
