M&A Brands Restaurant Manager - Job Description
Mike & Patty's is a Boston-inspired coffee & hospitality brand committed to providing environments where our guests or "locals" feel special through genuine connections, premium breakfast sandwiches, and local foods.
Mike and Patty's is seeking a business-savvy & hospitality-driven Manager to oversee our location. The Manager position is a hands-on role, often working side by side with teammates as needed. This is a daytime concept, supporting a great work / life balance.
The Mike & Patty's Restaurant Manager performs all duties associated with managing and overseeing the Restaurant Operations including Guest Service, Food Safety, Cost of Goods, Scheduling & Labor Control, Inventory and Ordering, Quality Control & Assurance, that puts our food first to provide our guests with the best experience and our team with an amazing work culture. This Role is new to our company and the Role Requirements and Responsibilities are to evolve and subject to change. The expectation is over time we work as a team to adjust and evolve it to best fit the needs of the company. In this role you will directly report to our Director of Operations
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

- CULTURE : Exude, demonstrate and perpetuate a company culture in line with the core values of M&A Brands, including the management of employees working in a clean, safe, and compliance with M&A Brand uniform policies.
- Implement initiatives to drive a culture that is inline with the values listed above including but not limited to :
- staff / family meal no less than once a week
- contests for sales, production, internal inspections, audits, etc.
- Group outings
- FOOD SAFETY : Manage the food safety culture and execution for M&A Brands Concepts (Mike & Pattys / HotBox). Ensure that all employees are trained on food safety, we have the proper coverage of employees that are certified and the development of getting more employees certified under programs such as but not limited to ServSafe manager certificate, etc. To manage and ensure BOW has the current certifications / license and manage the upkeep of these certifications based on both state and local law,
- TRAINING : Oversee the training of employees on food safety, cleaning, company values, guest service protocols, menu item builds, in-store software systems, etc. coaching and mentoring your locations in-store teams
- GUEST SERVICE : help develop and implement a guest service system designed to make guests or anyone entering the premises (3rd party delivery driver, vendor, etc.)
