Job Description:
Milford is seeking a creative and dynamic part-time Social Media Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies for both Milford Magazine and Milford Real Estate. This role includes managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the agency’s social media platforms and implement new and creative social media strategies and campaigns to improve brand awareness, audience engagement, and recognition.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms.
- Work with photographers and videographers to create visual and multimedia elements for social media profiles, including creating shot lists and vision boards to ensure desired outcomes.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in the media industry is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
