Event Sales & Marketing Consultant
Are you a motivated people person with a passion for weddings & events? Mill District Events is seeking a dynamic sales professional to join our team. As the Event Sales & Marketing Consultant, you are the face of the company for our incoming leads and provide top notch customer experience for our clients using our services for weddings & all other events.
What you’ll do:
-Meet with potential clients and provide tours of our historic wedding & event venues
-Build rapport to gain the client’s trust to use our onsite services
-Provide excellent customer service and guidance to customer pipeline throughout the process
-Provide quotes and estimates
-Create content and manage all social media and digital marketing, as well as other methods of marketing efforts
-Plan and organize marketing, in-house events, and ad campaigns
-Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the growth of Mill District Events
Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years in a professional sales environment with a commission/quota carrying pay structure
-Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative approach
-Tenacious personality to achieve and exceed sales goals
-Organizational skills and the ability to effectively follow up
-Experience with social media & digital content creation
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-A team player who is also accountable working alone
Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field or relative work experience
-Experience in the wedding & event industry
Mill District Events has been the Fredericksburg area’s top choice for wedding and event venues for nearly 17 years. We offer a seamless process to our clients and provide onsite events, catering, and bar services to make a positive impact for our client’s major life events. We are family owned and operated and work together as a team to achieve our goals.
Schedule requires 3 weekends per month with two days off during the week. Some evenings may be required based on client and company needs. Compensation is base uncapped commission to be determined by experience.
