Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including assisting with benefit enrollments/terminations, day to day functions of insurance programs, and communicating with hospital employees regarding policies and benefits. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of HR processes and systems.
Duties
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Acts as Benefits liaison to all employees; strong knowledge of benefits package a must.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Responsible for departmental filing
- Prepares initial records for newly hired employees
- Responsible for issuing employee badges
- Processing all worker's compensation claims
- Process FMLA requests and monitor each employee within the process, knowledge of entire cycle essential
- Responsible for employee file maintenance
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human resources.
- Organize time to account for workload
- Proven experience in a Human Resources role with a focus on benefit enrollment and processing.
- Familiarity with HR software systems and ability to navigate within is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Assists department director in compiling statistical data for meetings
- Assist with special projects as needed

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
