Professional Teaching Assistant for 2 and 3 Year Old Program
Milldam Nursery School is a cooperative preschool located in downtown Concord, Massachusetts. Milldam offers a play-based program that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each child. Families and staff work together with the goal of providing the best possible holistic preschool experience for all students.
Milldam Nursery School is actively seeking a Professional Assistant for the 2 and 3 Year Old Program.
Job Qualifications:
- Work experience in early childhood education setting(s).
- Strong collaboration skills: excellent communication, flexibility/adaptability, enjoys working closely with others.
- Demonstrates warmth and nurturing for our youngest students.
Job Requirements:
- Must complete CORI, SORI, and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the EEC prior to employment.
- Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment.
- Evidence of immunization against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
- Maintenance of current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher according to the agreed-upon schedule, which may vary from day to day.
- Work closely with colleagues to implement age appropriate play-based curriculum.
- Promote an environment that nurtures the physical, social, emotional, and educational development of students.
Hours:
- 3 mornings per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
- Opportunity to work additional hours during extended day programming
Compensation:
- Hourly wage: $26.52
