Summary
This position is located in the Department of Compact Operations (DCO), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-11 / 12, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4C / 4B which is generally equal to GS-11 / 12.

Qualifications
Selective Placement Factor (Screen out) : Experience working on programs or projects related to international development assistance. (If you do not meet this requirement, your application will not receive further consideration).
To qualify for pay band 4C you must meet the following :
Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 5A (GS-9) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as : performing administrative and operational assignments supporting the development, implementation and / or closure of international development assistance projects or programs; acting as liaison with individuals and groups both inside and outside an organization, particularly with foreign governments, international non-governmental organizations and businesses and the U.S. Government; and drafting a variety of written documents, such as project summaries, status reports, memos, briefing papers, presentations, and meeting minutes. Note : This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.
Applicants may also qualify based on completing requirements master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Such education must be related to the work of the position and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.

For this position, this experience is defined as : performing administrative and operational assignments supporting the development, implementation and / or closure of large-scale infrastructure international development assistance projects or programs, such as those focused on energy, transport, water and irrigation, etc.; acting as liaison with individuals and groups both inside and outside an organization, particularly with foreign governments, international non-governmental organizations and businesses and the U.S. Government interagency, regarding matters related to international development assistance; and drafting a variety of written documents, such as project summaries, status reports, memos, briefing papers, presentations, and meeting minutes. Note : This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.
Applicants may also qualify based on completing requirements for a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Such education must be related to the work of the position and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
Combination of Experience and Education : Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
