Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the Millennium McCormick Scottsdale. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional hospitality skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience during their stay.
Duties
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards of service.
- Handle reservations, deposits, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout the hotel.
- Implement hotel policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.
- Address guest complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them effectively.
- Monitor front desk activities, including phone etiquette and guest interactions, to ensure quality service.
- Scheduling and providing coverage when/as needed
- Assisting in some Accounting functions such as No Shows and maintaining Guest Ledgers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred
- Strong background in front desk or operations within a resort or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in using Word, Outlook, Excel and Opera Cloud
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations gracefully.
- A commitment to providing outstanding guest services and enhancing the overall guest experience.
