Schedule Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA and FERPA).
Track and monitor IEP timelines and due dates to ensure compliance.
Data entry and reporting for state and district special education requirements.
Collect, organize, and submit data for required state and federal special education reports.
Ensure compliance with deadlines and accuracy of information submitted.
Collaborate with district personnel to meet reporting requirements.
Order and maintain supplies for the department.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Support Services.
Support the preparation and submission of grant applications for special education funding.
Research funding opportunities and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Assist with tracking grant expenditures and preparing required reports.
Assist with quarterly Medicaid Reporting.
Budget preparation and budget encumbrances.
Submission of payroll for vendors and employees.
Collaboration with Transportation Direction.
Assist with Extended School year.
Processing and tracking of all department invoices.
Bachelor Degree required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
